Community Guidelines

The Lotte Holdings Co., Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") Community Guidelines for Official Social Media Accounts ("Guidelines") set forth the rules for interacting with our official social media accounts on platforms such as LINE, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn ("Lotte Official Accounts") and for using any services associated with those accounts. These Guidelines apply to anyone who interacts with Lotte Official Accounts. In order to ensure better communication with you, please read these Guidelines carefully and agree to abide by them prior to interacting with Lotte Official Accounts. If any other community guidelines are established for individual official accounts, please read those guidelines as well.

1. Operation

We use Lotte Official Accounts to disseminate information on Lotte Group business, information on campaigns conducted by us, information on our products and services, and other related communications.
Please note that, in principle, we cannot reply to posts, comments, or direct messages submitted by you.

2. Access to Basic Information

When you interact with Lotte Official Accounts, you will be deemed to have consented to our access to your basic information (including your name, username, profile photograph, gender, network, user ID, friend list, and other information that you have made publicly available).

3. Following Accounts

We do not necessarily follow back all the accounts that follow Lotte Official Accounts. We may also follow accounts that do not follow Lotte Official Accounts.
Any following by a Lotte Official Account does not mean that we support or approve of the relevant account holder, nor does it express our opinion.

4. Prohibitions

If we determine that any acts by you fall under any of the following, we may take any measures that we deem necessary, including the deletion of posts or the blocking of accounts, without prior warning, notification, or any other actions to you.
Furthermore, even if we do not take any measures with respect to acts that fall under any of the following, this will not be construed as our acceptance or subsequent approval of such acts, nor does it indicate that we will not take any measures against such acts in the future.

Acts that actually or may potentially constitute a violation of public order and morals, criminal acts, or acts that adversely affect the mental or physical health of young people
Acts that slander, libel, or defame us or a third party
Acts that infringe upon the property rights, privacy rights, image rights, publicity rights, or other rights of us or a third party
Acts conducted for profit through or in connection with Lotte Official Accounts without our prior approval
Sexually explicit, obscene, violent, or discriminatory expressions, and other acts that may cause discomfort to third parties
Acts that hinder the smooth operation of Lotte Official Accounts, or acts that cause annoyance to third parties
Expressions that may mislead third parties, including those based on personal experiences, impressions, or groundless rumors
Election campaigning or similar acts, and other acts related to politics or religion
Acts involving the identification, disclosure, or leakage of personal information
Impersonation of us or third parties, including our associates
Expressions involving the use of other companies' names or product names, and comparisons between us and other companies
Advertising, affiliate marketing, or other acts intended for promotion or solicitation
Acts involving the use of another person's ID to interact with Lotte Official Accounts
Acts involving the acquisition, disclosure, or provision of another person's ID or password
Acts that violate the laws and regulations of Japan or the country/region where you are located at the time of use
Acts involving the disclosure of private correspondence with us or a third party
Acts that obstruct another person's interactions with Lotte Official Accounts
Acts that intentionally generate high-load access
Acts that tamper with, misappropriate, or delete information on Lotte Official Accounts
Acts that violate the terms of use of social media platforms
Acts involving the posting or transmission of harmful computer programs or software
Acts involving making demands or unreasonable requests of us or third parties through violence, intimidation, force, or fraudulent means
Any other acts that we deem inappropriate

5. Copyrights, Etc.

Unless otherwise stated, all rights associated with trademarks, logos, service marks, images, and other materials used on Lotte Official Accounts belong to us or the respective rights holders, and are protected by laws concerning intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to, copyrights, design rights, patent rights, utility model rights, trademark rights, and know-how). You may not use any information provided through Lotte Official Accounts beyond the scope permitted by law (such as personal private use), and any such use must comply with these Guidelines.
The copyrights and other rights to content posted by you will belong to you. However, by posting such content, you will be deemed to have granted us a royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use all or part of such content (including reproduction, processing, translation, and publication) without your prior consent, and you will be precluded from exercising any copyrights or moral rights against our use of such content.

6. Disclaimer

We will not be liable for any damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from your interaction with, or inability to interact with, Lotte Official Accounts, or your use of, or inability to use, any websites linked from Lotte Official Accounts.
We assume no responsibility for any information or content (including comments, photos, and videos) posted by you and others.
You represent and warrant to us that the content and materials you post do not infringe any rights of third parties and that you possess all necessary rights and authority in connection with such content and materials, and you will indemnify us against any claims arising from any such infringement.
We will not be liable for any problems arising between you and others, or any problems or disputes between you and third parties in connection with Lotte Official Accounts.
We make no guarantees of any kind regarding the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, timeliness, or appropriateness of any information, programs, or various services provided through Lotte Official Accounts.
The operation of Lotte Official Accounts may be terminated without prior notice.

7. Changes to Guidelines

We may change these Guidelines without prior notice to you.

8. Handling of Information

If we acquire and collect user information, including your personal information, we will manage such information appropriately in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Guidelines are governed by the laws of Japan. Any and all disputes arising between you and us in connection with Lotte Official Accounts or any services associated therewith will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
