The LOTTE Group began its business in 1948 with the manufacturing and selling of chewing gum in Tokyo. Today, with headquarters in both Japan and South Korea, the LOTTE Group has grown into a diversified conglomerate operating in approximately 35 countries and regions worldwide. Our business domains span food and distribution, healthcare and biopharmaceuticals, data centers, as well as hotels and resorts, entertainment, construction, finance, and more.

At the core of our management philosophy is our mission: enrich people’s lives by providing superior products and services that our customers love and trust. To bring this mission to life, we have set forth our vision of being a “Lifetime Value Creator.” As customers’ life cycles continue to evolve, we remain committed to understanding their needs at every stage and delivering new value throughout their lives. Since 2022, under the slogan "ONE LOTTE," the company has advanced a global strategy that integrates business resources in Japan and South Korea. Centered on three pillars – Food, Life Science & Digital, and Lifestyle & Entertainment – we have constructed an organization capable of sustaining ongoing competitiveness in global markets, while deepening our existing businesses and accelerating challenges into new domains. In our core confectionery and ice cream business, we are working to maximize the value added by our own unique technologies while enhancing our business activities in new areas, such as global expansion and wellness, with the aim of building a growth portfolio focusing on the next generation.
