Through our healthcare and biopharmaceutical CVC, we invest in global startups that possess innovative technologies, including antibody drugs, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), next-generation modalities, and medical devices. In addition to capital, we leverage LOTTE Group’s overall strengths (including manufacturing support from LOTTE BIOLOGICS) to foster the growth of these startups and aim to create social value through new medical technologies.

CDMO（Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization）
Since 2022, we have been engaged in a global CDMO business. Our Syracuse base in the US provides manufacturing services for high-quality antibody drug substances and ADCs. Furthermore, in Songdo in Korea, we are working on the construction of a state-of-the-art bioplant with a production capacity of 120,000 liters. Scheduled to commence operations in 2027, it will significantly expand our supply structure.

We have a green materials business featuring the plant-based capsule material AnyCoat® and the physical property modifier AnyAddy®, as well as a chemical business with products including raw materials for semiconductors and ammonia. We provide a wide range of products from our bases in Korea that range from synthetic resins and chemical products to construction and interior materials, while in Japan, we offer high-performance plastics for automobiles and home appliances, as well as artificial marble and other building materials. Hydrogen/ammonia value chain
LOTTE Group boasts Asia’s leading distribution infrastructure, and utilizing ammonia, a hydrogen carrier, it is building a clean energy supply network. The major hub, the Ulsan ammonia storage facility in Korea, offers a geographical advantage given that it is located only 230km from Kitakyushu in Japan, and serves as a cornerstone of an efficient hydrogen and ammonia value chain, driving the realization of a decarbonized society.

EV batteries
With our strength in ultra-fast charger manufacturing technology, we are undertaking a global expansion of our EV charging infrastructure business. In April 2025, we installed a rapid charger in Osaka, which marked our first-ever project in Japan. Through the widespread installation of high-performance chargers, LOTTE Group will continue to contribute to the development and increased convenience of a mobility society in Japan.
